Soul of the son

Building a City or a Soul

The four dimensions are describing a spiritual place, a city, where every living stone has its own place and is in relationship with other stones around it.

We have depth: our souls are under the dominion of the Father and Christ Jesus

We are depth: we bring all things (time, space, world, devil) under the ‘feet’ of Jesus by exercising His dominion of Life. BEING!

We submit to righteousness: we receive and submit to the Father’s righteousness manifested through others in the Body of Christ

We are righteousness: we receive and exercise the Father’s righteousness toward others in the Body of Christ. RULING!

We are sanctified: we were purchased and set aside to belong to the Lord together with other members of the Body

We are sanctification: we receive and love others in the Body as Christ received us and set us apart for Him. TOUCHING!

We are redeemed: we were bougth with a price: the blood of Jesus

We are redemption: We are the hope of all creation, the expectation of the glory revealed when the sons are manifested. REACHING!

The Soul of Jesus

  • Jesus was completely aware of His Sonship with the Father and the Holy Spirit bearing witness at His water baptism. He was not only sinless but His soul was going to overcome the world by yielding to the Spirit. We are part of Him, growing into His victory

The Soul of sons

  • The purpose of soul life is the oneness back with the spirit by laying it down the ‘psyche’ soul life and getting the ‘zoe spiritual life of God. The existence of the soul, the place of creation and change, is always coming to the end, to ceasing, by rest, where every work is converted into the spiritual existence.(Luke 9:24)
  • The salvation of our souls is the entering back in the possession of God, by bringing every work into the eternal existence of the spirit (Eph.1:14; Heb.10:39)

Righteousness – mind consciousness

  • The mind of the son – the logical, man’s mind taught by the tree of knowledge, needs replaced with the mind of the spirit, which is Life and peace. The new mind is the mind of Christ
  • All the world is controlled by the ‘wisdom of this age’ or ‘rulers of this age’ (1 Cor. 2:6) and our preaching of the Gospel seems foolishness to the carnal mind. Man will have to become fool in what concerns the world, in order to receive God’s wisdom.

1Cr 2:15 – 16 NKJV – But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is [rightly] judged by no one. For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

Sanctification – surrender of the will

  • The will of the son – consumed by the Will of God as the bread offered on the table in the Temple.
  • It is not how weak I am to submit to Him but rather how strongly I desire to let Him take over
  • Was Jesus’ will weak when He submitted to the Father? We seem to come to the place of weakness when we cannot change or solve important issues for us or our families. No, Jesus’ will was very strong. He WILLED to submit His will to the Father. Our weakness in the will comes from fear of totally submitting

Redemption – sacrifice to bring pleasure to Him

  • Worship is the spiritual transformation of one’s emotions. It is the communion of the spirit with the Holy Spirit, the oneness of us being immersed in Him
  • The redemption of our emotions is not keeping them on the high level, but entering the rest, God’s rest. In the midst of distress, Jesus had the peace and gave others His peace. (John 14:27) Peace guards our minds and thoughts (Phil. 4:6-8).
  • Only the golden altar, with burning incense, is described to be into the Holy of Holiest. That represents our soul emotions, sacrificed into bringing pleasure to our Beloved. It cannot be any split loyalty in this. We could only burn incense to our God

The two I’s

[Gal 2:20 NKJV] “I have been crucified with Christ; it is

no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the

[life] which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the

Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

I have been crucified – the soul (psyche) life is crucified

Christ lives in me – the Spirit of God, the Son is the one alive

I now live in the flesh – the new I, the new creation, the Spirit-man

Faith – manifesting the Son of God in our souls, the becoming

Possessing the soul to become One

Luk 21:19 “By your patience possess your souls.

1 Thes. 5:23 – Now, may the God of peace himself consecrate you, every part of each one of you, to His worship and service, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved in their entirety blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Making peace and bringing wholeness, to become one new son of God.

Perfect love casts out fear

LOVE OVERCOMING FEAR

1 John 4:18 (NKJV)
There is no fear in LOVE; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.  But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

Fear is the absence of love

LOVE OVERCOMING FEAR

1 John 4:18 (AMP)
THERE IS NO FEAR IN LOVE [dread does not exist].  But perfect (complete, lacking nothing, full-grown) love DRIVES OUT fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love].

This is our Father’s love for us, His sons:

Matt 3:17 (AMP):  and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased and delighted!” [after Jesus’ water baptism]

Luke 3:22 (AMP):  and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came from heaven, “You are My Son, My Beloved, in You I am well-pleased and delighted!” [after Jesus’ water baptism]

Mark 1:11 (AMP):  and a voice came out of heaven saying:  “You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased and delighted!”

Matt 17:5 (AMP):  While he [Peter] was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased and delighted!  Listen to Him!” [during Jesus’ transfiguration]

AND WE NOW IDENTIFY WITH JESUS AFTER HIS BAPTISM.

OUR OWN BAPTISM WAS INTO HIS DEATH, AND NOW WE ARE ALIVE UNTO CHRIST, ONE WITH HIM IN RESURRECTION.
(Rom 6:3-4)

AND THE FATHER SAYS OF US TOO:  THIS IS MY BELOVED SON IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASED!

John 15:9 (AMP):  I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love [and do not doubt My love for you].

John 16:27 (AMP):  for the Father Himself [tenderly] loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came from the Father.

Romans 8:35 (AMP):  Who shall ever separate us from the love of Christ?  Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?

Romans 8:38-39 (AMP):  For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord

And now, we can come against fear
with this strong & powerful LOVE

What does my Father’s love for me
look like in this situation?

It’s all about relationship…not formula…

Fear of the future, of an unknown outcome or circumstance:

Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP):  For I know the plans & thoughts that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace & well-being and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope.

Romans 8:28 [AMP]:  And we know [WITH GREAT CONFIDENCE] that God [who is DEEPLY CONCENCERNED about us] causes ALL THINGS TO WORK TOGETHER [as a plan] FOR GOOD for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan & purpose.

Fear of being alone/loneliness:

Matthew 28:20b [AMP]:  I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.

Deuteronomy 31:6 [NKJV]:  Be strong & of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you.  HE WILL NOT LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU.

Hebrews 13:5b-6 [AMP]:  for He has said, I WILL NEVER [under ANY circumstances] DESERT YOU [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in ANY DEGREE leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax my hold on you [assuredly not]!

Fear of not having enough money to pay the bills:

Philippians 4:19 [AMP]:  And my God will liberally supply [fill until full] your every need according to HIS riches in GLORY in Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 5:7 [AMP]:  casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].

2 Cor 9:8 [AMP]:  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

Luke 12:23-25, 29-30 [AMP]:

23) For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.
Consider the ravens, for they neither sow seed nor reap the crop; they have no storehouse or barn, and yet God feeds them.
How much more valuable are you than the birds!
And which of you by worrying can add one hour to his life’s span?

29) so as for you, do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink; nor have an anxious and unsettled mind…your heavenly Father already knows that you need them.

Fear of accidents:
Psalm 91:7, 10-11, 14 [AMP]:
7) A thousand may fall at your side And ten thousand at your right hand, But danger will not come near you.
10) No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent.  For He will command His angels in regard to you, To protect and defend and guard you in all your ways.
14) Because he set his love on Me, therefore I will save him; I will set him [securely] on high, because he knows My name [he confidently trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never abandon him, no, never].

Psalm 121
3) He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.
4) Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5) The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand.
6) The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night.
7) The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.
8) The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.

Fear of sickness & disease

Psalm 91:2 [AMP]:  I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!” For He will save you from the trap of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence [a disease that causes many people to die].
Is 53:5 [NKJV]:  But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes
WE ARE HEALED.
Luke 10:19 [NKJV]:  Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY, AND NOTHING SHALL BY ANY MEANS HURT YOU.

1 John 4:18 (NKJV):  There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.  But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

By being full of assurance of your Father’s love for you
Perfect Love is able to drive/cast fear out:  it throws it out, it scatters it, Love gives you the power to let go of the fear, in such a way where you don’t even care where it falls, where it ends up, it’s not even important anymore!

2 Tim 1:7 [NKJV]:  For God has NOT given us a spirit of fear, BUT [He has given us His Spirit] of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

[ESV]:  For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Romans 8:15 [NKJV]:  For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

Galatians 4:22-23

22) For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman.
23) His son by the slave woman was born according to the flesh, but his son by the free woman was born
as the result of a divine promise.

Galatians 5:1
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.
Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 5:25
If [because] we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Hebrews 2:14-15
14) Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
15) And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Psalm 18

37) I have pursued Fear, and overtaken it:
neither did I turn again till it was consumed.
38) I have wounded Fear that it was not able to rise:
Fear is fallen under my feet.
40) You have also given me the neck of Fear; that I might destroy it.
41) Fear cried out, but there was none to save it:
even unto the LORD, but He answered it not.
42) Then did I beat Fear small as the dust before the wind:
I did cast Fear out as the dirt in the streets.

Building from inside

Eph. 3:16-21 that He would grant to you according to the wealth of His glory, with power to be strengthened through the Spirit in the inward man, that the Christ might finally settle down and feel completely at home in your hearts through your faith; in love having been firmly rooted and grounded in order that you may be able to grasp with all the saints what is the breadth and width and height and depth, and to know experientially the love of the Christ which surpasses experiential knowledge in order that you may be filled up to the measure of all the fullness of God.

1 Cor. 1:30 – But as for you, out from Him as a source are you in Christ Jesus who became wisdom for us from God, both righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

The fruit of the Spirit

[Gal 5:22-23, 25 NKJV] 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. … 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

The fruit = something that grows toward the harvest. It is not the doing but the becoming of the soul. We LIVE therefore we do.

Faith as a fruit: the place where faith is established in your soul as being ALIVE.

The becoming

[Jhn 6:35-36, 45 NKJV] 35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 “But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. … 45 “It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.

There is a part of our soul that thirst and hungers. But as it eats, becomes by believing with no thirst or hunger.

It is the ‘hearing and learning from the Father’ that makes the soul to become One with the spirit.

Faithfulness

[Luk 16:11 NASB] 11 “Therefore if you have not been faithful in the use of unrighteous wealth, who will entrust the true riches to you?

[2Ti 2:2 NASB] 2 The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

Faithful: subjective means believing. Objective means trustworthy.

The place of mutual trust: where full assurance lives

How can God entrust us with Himself

[Luk 1:30-31, 38 NASB] 30 The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God. 31 “And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. … 38 And Mary said, “Behold, the bondslave of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

God is preparing the soul to a place where He can reside and manifest Himself through it without fail.

The ones that fail have not completed the process. They might be doing God’s work but not as Him.

The Word that comes to us

[Jhn 6:63 NKJV] 63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and [they] are life.

[Isa 55:10 NKJV] 10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,

Sow the spirit and eat the life

Practice:

[Rom 8:28 NKJV] 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to [His] purpose.
